idTracks-Devices FAQ |
|
|
1.Where does idTracks stores data?
idTracks uses a relational database to store the data. Basic
edition uses an embedded edition of the database while the
standard edition uses a multi-user edition of the database.
idTracks ships with First SQL database. However idTracks
can perform with MS SQL server and Oracle databases. Please
contact INDIDGE SYSTEMS for using idTracks with MS SQL server
or Oracle.
2.How do I load my device data into idTracks?
idTracks comes with the functionality to load device data
from a comma separated text file. An example file (import.csv)
is provided in the installation directory. The first row
in the file contains the column headers. The header row
is necessary for the loader to work. The header row is followed
by the device data.
3.How can I install a purchased license key into idTracks?
Every time idTracks is started, it checks the license file.
If the license is a trial license, idTracks prompts the
user to register the product. When idTracks is purchased,
the license key is sent to you. Simply copy the license
key in to the window and click on Enter Key button. This
completes the installation of license key. After a purchased
license key is installed, the warning message disappears.
